SOC / Security Operations Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a SOC / Security Operations Engineer to join Fyld’s consulting team. You will work in a dynamic environment, protecting client infrastructures by monitoring, detecting and responding to security threats.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts across SIEM platforms and investigate incidents.
• Perform incident response, containment, eradication and remediation.
• Conduct threat‑hunting activities using MITRE ATT&CK and IoC analysis.
• Manage vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation efforts.
• Maintain and tune EDR/XDR solutions and other security monitoring tools.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security or related field.
• Proven experience in a Security Operations Center or Blue‑Team environment.
• Fluency in English.
• Relevant certifications such as SC‑200, Security+, CySA+, CEH are a plus.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with SIEM platforms (Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, QRadar).
• Knowledge of EDR/XDR solutions and security monitoring tools.
• Strong skills in incident detection, investigation and response.
• Familiarity with threat‑hunting techniques, MITRE ATT&CK framework and Indicators of Compromise.
• Understanding of vulnerability management and security best practices.
