Senior Software Engineer – Self‑Service Cloud

About the role

Elastic is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the self‑service cloud growth team, focusing on human user and agent onboarding to drive Elastic Cloud adoption.

Key responsibilities

• Develop full‑stack features and APIs for product onboarding and trial experiences.
• Design and implement scalable backend services and frontend components using React, TypeScript, Node.js, Hapi and Next.js.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers and solution teams to integrate cloud and Kibana onboarding flows.
• Define data evolution strategies to handle schema changes without breaking existing functionality.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in React, JavaScript/TypeScript and modern HTML/CSS.
• Experience with Node.js frameworks such as Hapi and Next.js.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, async programming and Git.
• Ability to design, implement and lead projects independently in a fast‑paced environment.
