Senior Revenue Manager – Portugal

About the role

SmartRental Group is seeking a Senior Revenue Manager to lead the revenue strategy for its Portugal property cluster. You will drive profitability by analysing market data, optimizing pricing, and coordinating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and monitor revenue management strategies for the assigned cluster.
• Analyse sales trends, booking rates, demand, market competition and identify opportunities and risks.
• Make data‑driven decisions on pricing, inventory, restrictions, segmentation and distribution to maximise RevPAR and GOPPAR.
• Develop weekly and monthly forecasts, produce periodic and ad‑hoc reports, and present actionable recommendations to management.
• Lead and develop the cluster team, set priorities, delegate responsibilities and foster high performance.
• Ensure accurate configuration of rates, restrictions, inventory and segmentation across PMS, CRS, channel manager, GDS and OTAs.
• Monitor price distribution across all channels and maintain alignment with commercial objectives.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of revenue management experience, preferably in multi‑property or cluster environments.
• Degree in Tourism, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
• Native‑level Portuguese (C1/C2) and English at B2 level (spoken and written).
• Strong analytical mindset with results‑oriented decision‑making skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with PMS, CRS, Channel Manager, Rate Shopper, GDS and OTAs.
• Advanced knowledge of KPIs such as RevPAR, ADR, RGI and GOPPAR.
• Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel for forecasting and budgeting.
• Expertise in pricing, forecasting, budgeting, segmentation and hotel distribution.
