Senior Java Developer (French Speaker)

About the role

Dellent, a consulting firm specialized in information systems and telecommunications, is seeking a Senior Java Developer who is fluent in French to join a fast‑growing investment‑banking technology hub in Portugal. The role can be based in Porto or Lisbon on a hybrid schedule, working on innovative solutions that support core banking operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java backend services using Spring Boot.
• Implement micro‑service architectures and RESTful APIs following best design patterns.
• Collaborate with French‑speaking stakeholders to gather requirements and produce high‑quality documentation.
• Integrate with PostgreSQL, MySQL and NoSQL data stores.
• Utilize CI/CD pipelines (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitLab CI) for automated delivery.
• Write unit and integration tests with JUnit and Mockito.

Required profile

• Minimum 9 years of proven Java backend development experience.
• Advanced proficiency in French (C1/C2) and fluent English.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work in a hybrid team environment.
