Senior IT Project Manager – Remote (Portugal)

About the role

KCS IT is seeking a senior‑level IT Project Manager to lead banking and financial services projects on a fully remote basis from Portugal. You will work with multidisciplinary teams, ensure robust risk management, and drive digital transformation initiatives for our international clients.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and deliver banking or financial services projects using Agile or hybrid methodologies.
• Manage project governance, risk, and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across software development, infrastructure, cloud, and cybersecurity.
• Maintain stakeholder communication and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Utilize project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, and MS Project to track progress.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an IT Project Manager, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Proven ability to manage risk, governance, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Fluent English and resident in Portugal.
• Available to start within one month.
• Experience working in Agile, hybrid, or Scrum environments.
