Reservations Agent – Hotel Front Office

About the role

The Lisbon Marriott Hotel is seeking a motivated Reservations Agent to join its front‑office team. You will be the first point of contact for guests calling, emailing or faxing reservation requests, ensuring a smooth and professional booking experience.

Key responsibilities

• Process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received via phone, fax or mail.
• Identify guest needs, verify room availability, rates, and explain guarantee, special rate and cancellation policies.
• Document special requests, accommodate guest preferences, and input accurate data into the reservation system.
• Apply appropriate codes for complimentary rooms, employee discounts, travel‑agent rates and wholesale bookings.
• Escalate guest concerns following proper procedures and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Provide clear, courteous telephone etiquette and support guests with disabilities.

Required profile

• Previous experience in hotel front‑office or reservations.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese.
• Proactive, creative and flexible mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with reservation software (specific system not named).
