Remote Commercial Contract Attorney (Portugal)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Contract Attorney to join our technology‑driven legal platform. The role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere in Portugal while supporting fast‑growing companies on a project basis.

Key responsibilities

• Review, draft, and redline a variety of commercial agreements, including SaaS contracts, MSAs, vendor and supplier contracts, NDAs, DPAs, and security/data‑privacy addenda.
• Advise clients on contract terms, negotiation strategies, and risk exposure.
• Deliver high‑quality legal work with rapid turnaround, typically within 24 hours of project acceptance.
• Handle technology‑focused agreements and GDPR/data‑privacy matters.

Required profile

• Licensed attorney in good standing in Portugal.
• Minimum 5 years of experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Background in a large law firm or in‑house legal department.
• Strong written communication and the ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
• Professional liability/malpractice insurance.

Required skills

• Advanced contract drafting and redlining.
• Knowledge of SaaS, technology, and data‑privacy agreements.
• Familiarity with GDPR compliance.
