Regulatory Counsel (Financial Products)

About the role

Revolut is seeking a Regulatory Counsel to provide practical legal advice on its financial products, ensuring rapid growth while staying compliant. You will work closely with product and business teams to shape the future of finance.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on compliance and legal issues for new and existing payments and banking products.
• Draft customer‑facing legal documentation for financial features.
• Structure and expand product offerings while managing regulatory expectations and applications.
• Engage with European and local regulators to secure approvals.
• Lead initiatives and execute detailed legal work under tight deadlines.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) with strong academic and law‑firm background.
• Demonstrated experience advising on European financial regulations.
• Ability to make decisions under ambiguity and pressure.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of PSD2 and CRD regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
