React Developer – Digital Banking

About the role

We are seeking a skilled React Developer to join a digital banking project for one of Portugal's largest financial groups. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to create high‑performance front‑end solutions that support the bank’s ongoing digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive front‑end applications using React.js.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, back‑end developers, and product owners to deliver robust banking features.
• Build reusable components and front‑end libraries for future projects.
• Ensure code quality through reviews, testing, and adherence to best practices.
• Integrate front‑end code with RESTful APIs and back‑end services while meeting security and performance standards.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
• Proven experience with React.js, modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5 and CSS3.
• Familiarity with component‑based architecture and front‑end testing frameworks.
• Comfortable working with Git and agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Detail‑oriented, proactive and able to thrive in a high‑responsibility, team‑oriented environment.
