Primary Teacher – International School

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join Vilamoura International School, a member of the Inspired Education Group. You will deliver engaging, curriculum‑aligned lessons to students aged 5‑11 in a vibrant, multicultural environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver lessons based on the Cambridge Primary curriculum and 21st‑century learning principles.
• Assess student progress, provide feedback and tailor support for individual growth.
• Differentiate instruction for English as an Additional Language (EAL) learners.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive classroom that promotes wellbeing and pastoral care.
• Communicate regularly with parents through reports and meetings.
• Collaborate with colleagues on cross‑curricular projects, school events and professional development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or Primary Teaching; PGCE or QTS highly desirable.
• Proven experience teaching the British National Curriculum or Cambridge Primary Curriculum.
• Native or near‑native English fluency (written and spoken).
• Resilient, collaborative, culturally aware and child‑centred.
