Platform Engineer (Hybrid, Braga, Portugal)

About the role

We are looking for a Platform Engineer to join our growing team in Braga. You will work on building and maintaining backend services, ensuring high performance and reliability across our platform. The role is hybrid, with three days a week on site.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using languages such as Python, PHP, C#, Go or Java.
• Implement and support web front‑end components with React, JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Manage Linux‑based environments, containerisation with Docker or Podman, and configure web servers like Nginx, Apache or Tomcat.
• Maintain source control using Git/GitHub and oversee databases including PostgreSQL, Redis and SQLite.
• Integrate real‑time communication protocols (WebRTC, SIP, RTP) and monitor system health with tools such as Zabbix or Nagios.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of professional experience with backend development.
• Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems.
• Hands‑on experience with container technologies and web servers.
• Fluent English (minimum B2 level).
• Based in Portugal or holding a valid Portuguese work permit.
