Mid Android Developer

About the role

We are seeking a Mid Android Developer to join our Agile team and help evolve our Android applications. The position follows a hybrid model, with three days per week on-site at our Alfragide office and a shuttle service from Sete Rios.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new features for Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and performance issues.
• Design and implement technical solutions with autonomy.
• Mentor junior developers through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and task estimation.
• Maintain code quality, security, and application performance.

Required profile

• Strong experience in Android mobile development.
• Solid expertise in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Proficiency with Android Studio and version control (Git).
• Good understanding of design patterns and MVVM architecture.
• Familiarity with Material Design guidelines and ability to work from mockups (e.g., Figma).
• Hands‑on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
