Mechanical Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to design and optimise mechanical components and assemblies for industrial automation solutions at our Castelo Branco site. You will ensure reliable, scalable, and safe mechanical systems that support production efficiency and innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Design mechanical systems and assemblies that meet project and production requirements.
• Develop scalable and efficient solutions for industrial automation equipment.
• Deliver high‑quality mechanical functionalities within project timelines.
• Create and improve components used in automation and robotic systems.
• Perform root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions for mechanical issues.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including drawings and pneumatic schematics.
• Validate designs through testing and support system integration activities.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, quality requirements, and safety regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience in mechanical design, product development, or industrial automation environments.
• Professional working proficiency in English and Portuguese.
• Willingness to travel occasionally, both domestically and internationally.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SolidWorks for mechanical design and drafting.
• Familiarity with Visual Studio and other engineering‑related software tools.
