Linux Systems Administrator

About the role

Luza is looking for a Linux Systems Administrator to manage and optimise enterprise Linux infrastructures in critical production environments. The role ensures system availability, performance, security and operational stability while driving automation and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and optimise Linux Enterprise infrastructures across production workloads.
• Ensure system availability, performance, security and operational stability.
• Automate operational processes and deployments using configuration management and automation tools.
• Administer virtualised environments and modern containerisation platforms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex incidents in production systems.
• Participate in capacity planning, technology evolution projects and service‑improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with Cloud, Security and Application teams.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience as a Linux/Unix Systems Administrator in enterprise settings.
• Strong knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Oracle Linux, SUSE Linux Enterprise Server and/or Debian.
• Experience with high‑availability solutions such as Pacemaker clusters.
• Familiarity with Foreman for provisioning and lifecycle management.
• Proficiency in Bash scripting, troubleshooting and operational automation.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking and Linux infrastructure troubleshooting.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools like Ansible.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
