Legal Counsel – Remote (Portugal)

About the role

Join Check Point's esteemed Legal Team as a Legal Counsel, supporting global operations from the comfort of your home in Portugal. You will play a pivotal role in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide variety of agreements while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full contracting cycle for sales agreements and other commercial contracts.
• Negotiate standard and customer‑specific contracts, including dealings with distributors and vendors.
• Collaborate with local business leaders to advise on legal risks across sales, purchasing, HR, product, corporate, and dispute resolution matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate diverse agreements in partnership with Sales, Marketing, Purchasing, HR, and Product teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in technology or software sales.
• Familiarity with standard contract terms and conditions for product and software sales.
• Proven experience supporting sales functions.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Required skills

• Advanced contract drafting and negotiation abilities.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
