About the role
This position is a field‑based Key Account Manager role focused on strategic key accounts and specialised healthcare centres in Portugal. You will act as the main link between the organisation and healthcare stakeholders, driving sustainable growth while improving patient outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and grow assigned key accounts, aligning with national and brand strategies.
- Achieve sales targets within designated therapeutic areas.
- Develop and execute strategic account and territory plans.
- Build long‑term relationships with healthcare professionals and decision‑makers.
- Analyse patient pathways to identify access barriers and improve treatment outcomes.
- Collaborate with medical, market access and cross‑functional teams.
- Leverage CRM systems, dashboards and data insights for decision‑making.
- Support omnichannel engagement initiatives and local projects while ensuring regulatory compliance.
Required profile
- University degree in a scientific, medical or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably as a Sales Representative or Key Account Manager.
- Proven success in managing key accounts and meeting sales targets.
- Strong understanding of the Portuguese healthcare ecosystem and stakeholder dynamics.
- Fluent in Portuguese with good command of English.
- Ability to work cross‑functionally in a matrix organisation.
