Junior Finance Analyst (inclusive pronouns)

About the role

Glovo is seeking a Junior Finance Analyst to help improve financial processes in Portugal. Based in Lisbon, you will join a cross‑functional Finance Team and support the company’s fast‑growing delivery operations.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile management reports with financial statements and support month‑end / year‑end closing.
• Implement new standardized procedures, leveraging AI tools where appropriate.
• Conduct ad‑hoc financial analyses to aid decision‑making.
• Compare actual results with business plans and forecasts, providing YoY, MoM and budget variance insights.
• Partner with the Commercial team as the primary finance contact for operational support.

Required profile

• Degree in Management, Economics, Business, Finance or a related field.
• 1‑2 years of experience in strategy consulting, investment banking, controlling, FP&A or auditing within a multinational environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Portuguese and English.
• Self‑driven, organized, detail‑oriented and able to work autonomously.
• SAP knowledge is a plus.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.

• Basic SAP knowledge.
