Junior Construction Manager – Fibre Optic Projects in Germany

About the role

We are looking for a German‑speaking Junior Construction Manager to join a leading European contractor on fibre‑optic civil works across Germany. The position offers the chance to lead on‑site teams, manage logistics and contribute to the digital transformation of Europe’s telecom infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor site activities, schedules and coordinate work plans.
• Lead a crew of approximately eight civil workers, ensuring safety and quality.
• Deliver projects on time, within budget and to high‑quality standards.
• Collaborate with telecom providers, prepare documentation and reports.
• Manage equipment, vehicles and daily workforce deployment.
• Ensure compliance with local permits and HSE regulations.
• Identify risks, control costs and optimise resource use.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil, Structural, Environmental, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Previous on‑site construction experience is preferred.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Leadership qualities, organisational skills and adaptability.
• EU citizenship.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
