Java Software Architect

About the role

We are seeking a Software Architect / Senior Java Engineer to lead the design and implementation of cloud‑native solutions for an innovative e‑mobility business. The role blends strategic architectural thinking with hands‑on Java development in a modern Azure environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve the overall software architecture using Domain‑Driven Design, Clean and Hexagonal Architecture principles.
• Develop high‑quality Java applications with Spring Boot, designing REST APIs and event‑driven components.
• Architect and implement cloud‑native solutions on Microsoft Azure, including infrastructure as code.
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and developer tooling.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure technical standards and best practices.
• Mentor junior engineers and influence technical decisions.

Required profile

• Strong experience in software architecture and enterprise Java development.
• Deep knowledge of DDD, Clean Architecture, Hexagonal Architecture, and distributed systems.
• Hands‑on expertise with Java, Spring Boot, and Azure cloud services.
• Excellent English communication; Portuguese or German is a plus.
