Java Developer – Microservices & Cloud (Lisbon)

About the role

Dellent, a consulting firm specialized in information systems and telecommunications, is seeking a Java Developer to join a multinational banking project. Based in Lisbon, you will work with a diverse team spread across more than 50 countries, delivering solutions for investments, business services, or commercial/personal banking.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement micro‑services using Java 21 and the Spring ecosystem.
• Develop event‑driven, API‑first architectures supporting order management and omni‑retail processes.
• Create and maintain RESTful APIs (OpenAPI/Swagger) and work with JSON, XML, HTTP, and GraphQL.
• Integrate with Order Management Systems (OMS) and Fluent Commerce for order orchestration.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to deploy containerized applications on Docker and Kubernetes, using CI/CD pipelines (GitLab).

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Java developer.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
