IT Trainee

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail‑oriented IT Trainee to join our Information Technology team in Lisboa, Portugal. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience in IT operations, supporting the department with essential technical tasks and projects while building a solid foundation for a career in technology.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with basic IT infrastructure support and maintenance under supervision.
• Troubleshoot and resolve common hardware and software issues.
• Maintain IT documentation and asset inventory in line with company standards.
• Support user onboarding and offboarding, including account setup and access management.
• Install, configure, and test software applications and systems.
• Monitor system performance and flag potential technical discrepancies.
• Contribute to IT security initiatives such as password management and access control.
• Perform accurate data entry and keep detailed technical records.
• Prepare IT reports and documentation.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to address technical inquiries.
• Participate in IT projects and suggest process improvements.

Required profile

• 12th grade in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to analyze technical data and identify issues.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Basic knowledge of IT infrastructure.
• Fundamental understanding of networks and operating systems.
