IT Support Engineer Internship – Start Oct or Jan

About the role

Metyis is looking for an IT Support Engineer – Intern to join its global internal IT team at the Porto Digital Campus. The role offers hands‑on experience supporting end users and working with a variety of Microsoft cloud technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Assist and guide end users on standard office applications and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and service issues in collaboration with employees.
• Handle technical onboarding and off‑boarding of staff.
• Install and deploy hardware using Intune and Autopilot tools.
• Monitor hardware warranties, manage replacements and repairs.
• Maintain and update manuals and documentation for IT processes.
• Collaborate with internal IT teams and external partners to ensure smooth daily support.

Required profile

• Previous onsite IT support experience and familiarity with support processes and tools.
• Ability to manage standard office hardware and applications (Windows, macOS, smartphones, tablets).
• Fluent in English and the local language.
• Excellent customer‑service mindset and energetic attitude.
• Independent work style with strong organization skills.
• Eagerness to learn and stay up‑to‑date with Microsoft Cloud products.

Required skills

• Windows 10/11 and macOS installation and management.
• Microsoft Intune and Autopilot deployment.
• Azure AD, Exchange, Endpoint Manager administration.
• Microsoft 365 suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, SharePoint).
• Microsoft Teams and video‑conferencing tools.
• Basic Wi‑Fi networking and printing knowledge.
• iOS and Android device configuration.
