IT Risk and Cyber Security Senior Officer

About the role

Join the Cyber security & Digital Fraud (CDF) department of BNP Paribas and lead Identity & Access Management (IAM) initiatives across the Group. You will act as the primary IAM contact for IT stakeholders, shaping security strategy and ensuring robust access controls in a complex, international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Identify blind spots, emerging threats and opportunities to enhance the Group’s cyber security strategy.
• Define and update IAM requirements at Group level, considering regulations, IT constraints and user experience.
• Support business lines in aligning security measures with the overall strategy.
• Challenge risk assessments and propose counter‑measures for major projects.
• Monitor market innovations, run proofs‑of‑concept and recommend new solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
• Up to 2 years of professional experience in IT, with a focus on risk and cyber security.
• Strong analytical ability, attention to detail and a proactive problem‑solving mindset.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with international stakeholders.

Required skills

• IAM technologies: Single Sign‑On (SSO), Kerberos, SAML.
• PKI and cryptography fundamentals.
• Multi‑Factor Authentication, strong authentication, biometric solutions.
• FIDO / FIDO2 protocols.
• Privileged Access Management.
• Robotic Process Automation (RPA) contexts.
