Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Technician – Cannabis Cultivation

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Technician to join our cannabis greenhouse operation in Alcochete. You will lead pest‑ and disease‑monitoring activities, apply biological and chemical controls, and ensure the highest crop quality while complying with GACP standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform regular inspections for pests and diseases and document findings.
• Prepare and apply beneficial insects and plant‑protection products, or supervise their application.
• Manage treatment calendars, coordinate with cultivation teams, and maintain stock of IPM materials.
• Track KPIs, analyse monitoring data, and research emerging threats.
• Maintain accurate records in line with safety and regulatory guidelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering, Biology or a related field.
• Valid Pesticide Applicator License.
• English proficiency at least B2 level.
• Detail‑oriented with strong organisational skills.
