Group Financial Controller

About the role

The Group Financial Controller will own the consolidated P&L for headquarters and shared functions, ensuring accurate forecasting, cost discipline and robust financial reporting. You will act as a key finance partner to functional heads, providing insights that support strategic and operational decisions across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Own the HQ and Shared Functions P&L, driving accurate forecasts and cost development oversight.
• Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasts for all central functions.
• Monitor and analyse cost development across HR, IT, Finance, Legal and other functions, identifying risks and savings opportunities.
• Develop and continuously improve the HQ cost allocation framework, ensuring transparency and compliance.
• Prepare high‑quality management reports, variance analysis and commentary for senior leadership.
• Review and approve purchase orders, BANFs and intercompany allocations to ensure policy compliance.
• Coordinate monthly and annual closing activities and maintain cost‑center governance.
• Oversee internal controls, audit readiness and provide ad‑hoc accounting analyses.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Controlling, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in accounting or controlling, preferably in a manufacturing or automotive environment.
• Prior experience in a Big Four firm is a strong asset.
• Strong analytical mindset, structured working style and confident English communication.
