Full‑Stack Engineer (React & Node.js)

About the role

Syffer is looking for a skilled Full‑Stack Engineer to design, build, and maintain modern web applications using React (Next.js) and Node.js. You will join a collaborative, Agile team that delivers high‑impact solutions for leading clients worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications with Node.js and React/Next.js.
• Design, build, and integrate RESTful APIs.
• Work with MongoDB and PostgreSQL databases.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.
• Participate in code reviews and technical decision‑making.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams using Agile methodologies.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and improve existing solutions.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of software development experience.
• 3+ years with Node.js (NestJS or Express) and React (preferably Next.js).
• Proficiency in MongoDB and relational databases, especially PostgreSQL.
• Strong understanding of REST API design.
• Experience with unit and integration testing.
• Hands‑on experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Professional fluency in Portuguese and English.
