Financial Reporting Analyst – Europe

About the role

Join Hiscox’s Europe Finance team as a Financial Reporting Analyst, supporting the regulatory and statutory reporting for Hiscox S.A. You will work on Luxembourg and broader European filings, ensuring that financial information is accurate, timely and compliant with applicable standards.

Key responsibilities

• Support Luxembourg and European regulatory and statutory reporting, including filings and submissions.
• Prepare and analyse financial data, perform reconciliations and maintain reporting templates.
• Contribute to strong financial controls, governance and continuous process improvements.
• Collaborate with Finance functions (Reporting, Controlling, Accounting, FP&A), auditors and regulators.
• Assist with month‑end close activities, audit requests and ad‑hoc projects.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in finance or accounting.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, balance‑sheet and P&L concepts, and IFRS.
• Strong analytical mindset, high attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in an international environment.
• Fluent English (C1+).

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Power BI experience (advantage).
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as Oracle (advantage).
