Finance & Accounting Specialist

About the role

Join a fast‑growing performance marketing agency in Lisbon as a Finance & Accounting Specialist. You will be responsible for delivering accurate financial information that supports strategic decisions and drives continuous improvement across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Own and enhance end‑to‑end accounting and tax processes.
• Ensure reliable financial reporting for leadership.
• Partner with the CFO on reporting, insights, and performance analysis.
• Lead month‑end and year‑end closings, validating financial data.
• Drive automation and AI‑based improvements in finance processes.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Mentor and assist the accounting team.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in accounting, controlling or audit, preferably in a fast‑paced consulting environment.
• Solid accounting experience of at least 2 years.
• Strong communication skills and ability to present complex financial data clearly.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Financial modelling.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV (plus).
• Hands‑on experience or strong interest in AI tools and automation for finance.
