Field Support Trainee

About the role

We are looking for a Field Support Trainee to join our IT team in Lisbon. The role involves providing on‑site technical assistance to end‑users, installing and configuring hardware and software, and ensuring the reliability of our IT infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Install and configure hardware such as PCs, printers, routers and servers.
• Provide face‑to‑face technical support to end‑users.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and connectivity issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and infrastructure.
• Assist in managing and inventorying IT assets.

Required profile

• Academic background in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related fields.
• Previous on‑site technical support experience (preferred).
• Valid driver’s licence (valued).

Required skills

• Hardware installation and configuration.
• Software setup and operating‑system knowledge.
• Diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
• Familiarity with peripherals such as printers and routers.
