Director, Business Performance

About the role

The Director, Business Performance leads the enterprise‑wide performance insight agenda at Elementis. Reporting to senior finance leadership, the role provides strategic partnership to the CFO, Executive Team and functional heads, ensuring a single, integrated view of financial performance across the value chain.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end performance analysis across Strategy & Innovation, Commercial & Supply Chain, Manufacturing & Procurement.
• Deliver flash results narratives to the CEO, CFO, Group Controller and Head of Group FP&R.
• Co‑lead the monthly Group Performance call and drive quarterly deep‑dive reviews.
• Identify cross‑functional trade‑offs and ensure decisions are made with full enterprise visibility.
• Drive bottom‑up forecasting for annual budgets, re‑forecasts and long‑range plans (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash).
• Support finance managers and functional leaders with budgeting, forecasting and decision‑support modelling.
• Own the efficiency and simplification agenda, tracking cost, productivity and value‑creation initiatives.

Required profile

• Senior strategic partner experience working closely with CFOs and executive teams.
• Proven ability to lead teams delivering functional and cross‑functional analysis, scenario modelling and performance insights.
• Strong understanding of end‑to‑end value‑chain performance management.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting and long‑range financial planning.
