DevOps Engineer – Embedded Firmware Team

About the role

Bose is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join the DevOps team that supports its embedded firmware development community. You will work closely with product development engineers to deliver new features for consumer audio products while advancing the company’s DevOps culture.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI pipelines that automate integration across multiple embedded development teams.
• Create tools for release, validation, and publishing of embedded software components.
• Collaborate with software teams to identify and eliminate CI/CD bottlenecks.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend best‑in‑class tools and practices.
• Develop and manage automation solutions for operational processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in DevOps, embedded software development, or build infrastructure.
• Hands‑on experience with Jenkins, GitHub, Kubernetes, Docker, and other build automation tools.

Required skills

• Python programming
• Amazon Web Services (or similar cloud platform)
• C/C++ build knowledge for embedded Linux systems
• Jira, Confluence, Artifactory, Grafana
