DevOps Engineer – Audio Platform

About the role

Bose is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join the Core Engineering Tools Group and help build the automation environment that powers audio innovation across wearable, out‑loud, and automotive product lines. You will work closely with engineers and cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable tooling that accelerates research, development, and prototyping.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines that integrate multiple languages, protocols, and execution environments.
• Collaborate with internal teams to add engineering‑focused functionality and improve automation workflows.
• Write clean, well‑tested code with comprehensive documentation.
• Participate in code reviews and support a healthy prototyping ecosystem.
• Provide troubleshooting, support, and education to end‑users of the automation platform.
• Contribute to a collaborative, team‑oriented culture and a thriving prototyping community.

Required profile

• BS or MS in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong communication skills and a proven track record of teamwork on technical projects.
• Experience contributing to technical communities beyond your immediate team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python, Groovy, Bash (or similar scripting languages).
• Hands‑on experience with automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of container‑based tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Infrastructure‑as‑code expertise (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
• Familiarity with code quality tools, testing practices, and asynchronous code review.
• Experience with both green‑field and brown‑field project lifecycles.
• Understanding of audio DSP concepts, C programming, and automated secrets management (preferred).
