Data Engineer (GCP) – French Speaker

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our Lisbon team and help build robust data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform. You will work in a hybrid setting, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to transform raw data into actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using GCP services, with a focus on BigQuery.
• Implement ETL processes to ingest, clean, and enrich data from multiple sources.
• Collaborate with analysts and product owners to understand data requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimise data workflows for cost and efficiency.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer.
• Fluent in French (B2) and proficient in Portuguese or English (B2).
• Based in Portugal with the right to work in the EU.

Required skills

• Hands‑on expertise with Google Cloud Platform, especially BigQuery.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Solid understanding of ETL concepts and data modelling.
