Controlling Expert (m/f/d)

About the role

The Controlling Expert is responsible for the accuracy of all financials in the assigned area, including costs, revenues and operating profit. Working closely with business owners, the role plans, reports, forecasts and analyses key financial KPIs, while acting as a finance business partner to support management decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure completeness and accuracy of costs, revenues and operating profit for the assigned area.
• Monitor financial performance against plan and forecast, analyse deviations and recommend corrective actions.
• Create comprehensive financial analyses, reports and dashboards on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
• Oversee monthly billing, revenue accrual and cost provision processes in line with IFRS and internal policies.
• Develop recommendations for financial targets during strategic and operational planning.
• Collaborate with central and local teams to standardise guidelines, processes and systems for controlling efficiency.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in finance, controlling or accounting, preferably as a Business Controller.
• Deep understanding of financial planning, analysis and performance monitoring.
• Ability to develop and improve financial guidelines, processes and systems.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
• Fluent in English; German or other local language is a plus.
