Cash App Accountant – 1 Year Contract

About the role

The Cash App Accountant is responsible for ensuring all bank movements are accurately recorded and supported in the accounting system. This 1‑year contract role involves daily monitoring of bank postings, reconciliations, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams to provide reliable financial information.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and control daily bank posting processes.
• Prepare and record daily bank entries by analysing bank statements and general ledger data.
• Collaborate with internal teams to obtain necessary information for accurate postings.
• Execute monthly bank reconciliations and document month‑end evidences.
• Produce reports based on bank accounting entries as required.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives for bank postings and reconciliations.
• Perform ad‑hoc reporting tasks assigned by the line manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in accounting.
• Fluent English; Spanish is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and principles.
• Ability to multitask, meet deadlines and work in an international environment.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented and trustworthy.

Required skills

• SAP (preferable).
