Business Analyst – Travel Management

About the role

We are looking for a Business Analyst to lead the optimisation of our travel management ecosystem. You will work closely with business stakeholders and IT partners to design, implement and monitor solutions that improve efficiency, quality and cost‑effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and model end‑to‑end travel processes (as‑is/to‑be) and identify automation levers.
• Elicit, structure and prioritise requirements, create user stories and acceptance criteria, and facilitate workshops.
• Act as the bridge between business and IT/implementation partners, translating requirements into actionable specifications.
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of use cases, evaluate business value, feasibility and ROI, and define KPIs.
• Assess standard cloud, tool and AI/agent‑based solutions, focusing on API‑based integration and make‑or‑buy decisions.
• Support tenders, fit‑gap analyses, proof‑of‑concepts and plan implementation roll‑outs.
• Contribute to quality assurance, acceptance testing, hyper‑care and transition to operations, including documentation and knowledge transfer.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering or a comparable field.
• Minimum 7 years experience as a Business Analyst, Requirements Engineer or Process Manager in digitalisation or automation projects.
