Booking Team Lead – Travel Operations

About the role

iCliGo is seeking a Booking Team Lead to oversee the daily performance of its Booking team. You will ensure operational excellence across all booking activities, supporting both internal and external stakeholders with high‑quality travel solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate day‑to‑day activities of the Booking team to maintain smooth operations.
• Monitor workload, priorities, and service levels, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
• Provide guidance and act as the first escalation point for complex booking cases.
• Oversee accurate execution of booking processes, including creation, modification, cancellations, and issue resolution.
• Support implementation and optimisation of operational procedures to boost efficiency.
• Track performance through KPIs and contribute to regular reporting.
• Collaborate with Operations, Customer Support, and Commercial teams to ensure alignment.
• Assist with onboarding, training, and continuous development of team members.
• Identify process improvement opportunities within booking workflows.

Required profile

• Degree in Tourism, Management, or a related field.
• More than 5 years of experience in the travel industry (agency, OTA, tour operator, etc.).
• Proven experience in team coordination, supervision, or leadership.
• Strong knowledge of booking processes and airline reservation systems (GDS).
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Hands‑on problem‑solving mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Analytical skills to monitor performance and drive improvements.
