Backend Go Developer

About the role

Bedrock is looking for a Backend Go Developer to help design and build high‑performance, stable, and maintainable components of its video streaming platform. You will work on a platform that serves millions of users across Europe’s leading SVOD/AVOD services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimise backend services using Go.
• Support existing PHP environments and ensure smooth migration where needed.
• Implement customer, product and technical road‑maps in the backend ecosystem.
• Develop, consume and manage APIs at scale.
• Apply automated testing practices in an industrialised CI/CD pipeline.
• Work with AWS services and Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC) tools.
• Explore AI‑driven tools to improve development efficiency.

Required profile

• Proficiency in Golang or strong willingness to learn Go.
• Good knowledge of PHP for legacy support.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS and IaC principles.
• Proven track record of building and managing APIs.
• Experience with automated testing in production environments.
• Curiosity about AI applications in software development.
• Strong teamwork, communication and detail‑orientation.
