AI Architect

About the role

Metyis is seeking an AI Architect to design and build the technical backbone for large‑scale enterprise AI transformations. You will operate at the intersection of cloud infrastructure, data engineering, and applied AI, owning architectural decisions and collaborating with senior stakeholders across a global organization.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure technical consistency and portability of AI solutions, acting as custodian of architectural standards.
• Establish robust data and technology foundations with data, IT, and business teams to guarantee scalability, reliability, security, and trust.
• Advise on solution design and target architecture for AI applications, guiding teams toward future‑proof technical choices.
• Draft technical specifications, monitor development progress, and oversee acceptance testing for quality and performance.
• Integrate, manage, and scale AI systems, coordinating between data, IT, and business functions.
• Monitor AI infrastructure performance, control costs, schedule model updates, and manage dependencies.
• Participate in or lead project governance and technical forums, documenting architectural decisions.
• Identify technical risks proactively and propose mitigation strategies.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, IT architecture, or a closely related field.
• Hands‑on exposure to AI tooling and platforms.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML components such as model serving and data pipelines.
