Warehouse Manager

About the role

Indie Campers, the global leader in road‑trip travel, is looking for a Warehouse Manager to run a small depot in Portugal. The role combines hands‑on operational work with leadership of a compact team, ensuring smooth rental workflows, fleet readiness, and an excellent customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and coordinate all rental processes: check‑in, check‑out, documentation, cleaning and basic maintenance.
• Track daily KPIs and promote ancillary products through value‑based selling.
• Perform basic RV/van inspections (battery, water, gas, lights, tyres) and escalate complex issues to regional service teams.
• Maintain accurate fleet status in operational systems.
• Plan daily shifts, allocate tasks, demonstrate SOPs and onboard new hires.
• Prepare and present RVs for sales appointments.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of experience in fast‑paced operations, logistics, rental, hospitality or customer‑facing environments.
• Physical ability to lift 10‑15 kg, stand and move around the depot for long periods.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays and peak periods, including extended shifts.
• Driving licence (Category B) and English proficiency (mandatory); Portuguese is a plus.
