About the role

Join Siemens Gamesa as a Strategic Global Buyer, leading the development and execution of global sourcing strategies for key commodities to support business goals and operational requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute global sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives and operational needs.
• Collaborate with Quality and Engineering teams to ensure procured parts and services meet required specifications.
• Manage relationships with key suppliers, negotiating pricing, contracts, and commercial terms to achieve optimal value.
• Partner with internal stakeholders, including operations, engineering, and finance, to align procurement activities with overall business goals.
• Utilize data analytics to track procurement performance, generate insights, and prepare reports for management.

Required profile

• Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in global sourcing and procurement with strong understanding of supply chain dynamics.
• Excellent negotiation skills and ability to manage supplier relationships effectively.
• Advanced English proficiency; additional languages are a plus.
