Visual Design Trainee

About the role

Join Siemens Energy’s Digital Core Unit as a Visual Design Trainee and help translate digital transformation concepts into engaging visual content. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to create learning and communication materials that support employees on their digital journey.

Key responsibilities

• Design graphics and illustrations for training materials and internal communications, adhering to corporate design guidelines.
• Produce multimedia formats such as videos, podcasts, games, and apps related to digital topics.
• Support the development and maintenance of user‑friendly intranet pages on Microsoft SharePoint.
• Create and edit presentation decks to communicate digital transformation topics effectively.
• Visualize data and key performance indicators in clear, engaging formats.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a degree program (Media Design, Graphic Design, Communication Design, Media Informatics, Product Design, Linguistics, Communication Studies or similar) with at least one year remaining.
• Previous experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience creating and editing audiovisual content (videos, podcasts).
• Foundational knowledge of generative AI tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in German and English.
• Strong interest in digitalization and digital transformation topics.
