Utilities Engineer

About the role

The Utilities Engineer will ensure that all utility systems supporting our manufacturing operations run reliably and meet defined specifications. This role covers a wide range of systems, from HVAC and chilled water to power generation and water treatment, within a large industrial campus.

Key responsibilities

• Execute technical work packages, generate and validate engineering data, and achieve project objectives.
• Analyze system performance, document findings, and communicate recommendations for corrective actions.
• Identify root causes of issues, adapt engineering approaches, and implement technical adjustments.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver technical solutions within defined project scopes.
• Resolve technical problems using structured problem‑solving methods to minimize project delays.
• Prepare reports and communicate engineering conclusions to support decision‑making.

Required profile

• Master’s degree with at least 3 years of experience or Bachelor’s degree with at least 7 years in Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biotechnology or a related field (PhD acceptable).
• Demonstrated expertise in at least one engineering discipline relevant to Sartorius technologies.
• Proven ability to execute engineering activities, perform technical analyses, and solve problems in laboratory, development or manufacturing environments.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
