Ukrainian Interpreter – Remote (Portugal)

About the role

We are looking for a fluent Ukrainian‑English interpreter to join a leading Outsourcing/BPO consultancy. The role is fully remote from Portugal and involves providing accurate, real‑time translation for customer service calls across several sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Translate spoken and written communication between Ukrainian and English while preserving meaning, tone, and style.
• Maintain correct grammar and syntax in both languages.
• Deliver precise renditions of conversations, including every detail.
• Follow customer instructions, manage call flow, and avoid taking over the call.
• Apply industry‑specific terminology for insurance, legal, and medical (general and forensic) contexts.

Required profile

• Native or fluent Ukrainian (C1) and fluent English (minimum B2).
• High school diploma (mandatory); language or translation studies are a plus.
• Excellent listening, retention, and note‑taking abilities.
• Ability to explain cultural concepts to prevent miscommunication.
• Neutral, objective, and highly disciplined work attitude.
• Strong time‑management and ability to meet performance goals.
