UI Designer – Hybrid (Lisbon)

About the role

Aubay Portugal is seeking an experienced UI Designer to join its Lisbon office. You will work in a hybrid setting, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to create pixel‑perfect interfaces for automotive, mobile and other digital products.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver high‑quality UI components using Figma and Adobe Suite.
• Maintain and evolve design systems following atomic design principles.
• Identify friction points in design workflows and implement automation or process improvements.
• Conduct workshops, demos and collaborative sessions to share knowledge.
• Integrate AI tools (generative AI, LLMs) to enhance design efficiency.
• Adapt UI designs to specific platforms while preserving brand identity.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional UI design experience with a strong portfolio.
• Hands‑on curiosity with AI‑driven design tools and basic technical fluency.
• Ability to build simple automations, work with APIs or write lightweight scripts.
• Excellent communication skills to bridge technical concepts and design needs.
• Fluent English (minimum B2 level) and comfortable working three days per week onsite.
