About the role

New Fortress Energy is seeking a professional Truck Driver to operate a Class 9 tractor truck and transport LNG tanks to local small‑scale customers and power‑generation sites. The role focuses on safe, efficient delivery of natural‑gas products while maintaining high standards of logistics asset care.

Key responsibilities

• Safely deliver LNG product to customers and regasification sites.
• Operate a Class 9 tractor truck hauling LNG tanks in accordance with all safety protocols.
• Plan routes, anticipate traffic or construction issues, and apply defensive driving techniques.
• Perform product off‑loading operations at multiple customer locations.
• Maintain and inspect logistics assets to ensure operational readiness.
• Work under pressure, uncertainty, and tight schedules while meeting delivery commitments.

Required profile

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) appropriate for Class 9 vehicles.
• Experience operating heavy‑duty trucks, preferably in the energy or logistics sector.
• Ability to work independently and handle time‑critical deliveries.
• Strong attention to safety and compliance with company standards.

Required skills

• Class 9 tractor‑truck operation.
• Defensive driving techniques.
• Basic knowledge of LNG handling and off‑loading procedures.
