Transport Monitor (Part-Time) – Aroeira

About the role

Inspired Education is looking for a part-time Transport Monitor to supervise students on their daily trips from Aroeira to St. Peter's International School in Palmela. The selected person is responsible for the safety, wellbeing and discipline of students from boarding the bus until they arrive at the school campus, and back again.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure every student stays seated safely with seatbelts fastened during the journey
• Check the passenger list on board and alighting so no student is left behind
• Maintain a calm, positive and respectful atmosphere in the vehicle and report behaviour issues to the school administration
• Help younger students get on and off the bus safely at the designated pick-up and drop-off points
• Act as a reliable contact between the transport coordination team, the driver and parents during pick-up and drop-off times

Required profile

• Secondary education level or equivalent; university students seeking part-time work are very welcome
• Previous experience supervising children and adolescents is strongly valued
• Fluency in Portuguese (mandatory); good English is highly valued due to the international community
• Clean criminal record (mandatory under Portuguese law for working with minors)
