Trainee Accountant – Finance (Part‑time)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Trainee Accountant to join our Finance team in Lisbon. This part‑time position offers a student the chance to gain practical experience in a multinational environment while supporting core accounting and reporting activities.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in daily accounting tasks within the Record to Report (R2R) process.
• Prepare journal entries and perform account reconciliations.
• Support month‑end closing activities and maintain accurate financial records.
• Extract and validate financial data from ERP systems (SAP, Cognos).
• Help prepare reports, schedules, and resolve data discrepancies.
• Ensure proper documentation for audit trails and support internal controls.
• Collaborate with R2R, P2P, and O2C teams and communicate with stakeholders.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Strong interest in accounting processes and basic knowledge of accounting principles.
• Attention to detail, organizational skills and good English communication.
• Proactive, reliable and eager to learn.
