Test Manager – French Speaker

About the role

Aubay Portugal is seeking an experienced Test Manager who is fluent in French to lead manual testing activities for critical systems across banking, insurance, telecommunications and energy sectors. You will work in an Agile environment, collaborating closely with product owners, developers and project managers to ensure high‑quality software delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design, plan, execute and document manual test cases, including exploratory, risk‑based and usability testing.
• Manage defects using tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps and ensure timely resolution.
• Develop comprehensive test strategies, identify quality risks and perform root‑cause analysis.
• Drive continuous improvement of manual testing processes and mentor junior QA team members.
• Participate in Scrum and Kanban ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with a strong focus on manual testing.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (B1+) and French (B2+).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross‑functional teams.
• Alignment with corporate values of integrity, ethics and customer focus.
