IT Quality Control Analyst

About the role

The IT Quality Control Analyst plans, executes, and documents software testing activities to ensure applications meet business requirements and quality standards. The role works closely with business, operations, and technology teams to identify defects, validate enhancements, and support reliable software releases.

Key responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and execute test assets such as test plans, test cases, test scripts, and quality metrics.
• Perform System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Regression Testing across multiple phases.
• Validate system functionality against business and technical requirements.
• Identify, document, report, and track software defects through resolution.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, project teams, and end users to resolve issues and validate solutions.
• Support software deployment, production validation, and compliance with SDLC and QA processes.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives and maintain testing documentation and quality metrics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or IT quality control.
• Proven ability to create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Experience supporting SIT, UAT, and regression testing activities.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into test scenarios.
